Giovanni Allevi

Giovanni Allevi, amongst major and interesting composers of the actual international panorama, he arrives in Venice with the EVOLUTION TOUR. On the extraordinary stage of Plaza San Marco, Allevi put on his show with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Virtuosi Italiani, in the unedited role of orchestra director. In the frame of Plaza San Marco, Allevi suggested the compositions of his most recent album EVOLUTION, which came out June 13th 2008, published by Bollettino/Ricordi-Sony BMG. With EVOLUTION, Allevi writes a new page in Contemporary Classical Music, thanks to the introduction of the symphonic language of an unpublished rhythm and a sensible modern melody of a naturalist. The protagonist of EVOLUTION is the symphonic orchestra that expresses through the peculiar style of Allevi: an emotional language, present, direct, and intense. The Orchestra interprets, proclaims, the freshness and the vigorous rhythms of the melodic invention of Allevi, conferring and intensity typically Italian.
